The Chair, entrusted to Stefano Rossi, a Full Professor at the Department of Finance, was presented today with an inaugural lecture, during which Professor Rossi outlined an innovative approach to corporate risk management, to be understood not only as coverage of financial risks but also, and above all, as management of corporate operational risks. "We will have the opportunity to conduct high-quality research on the insurance world, which is undergoing major changes in this fintech era, and we will be able to feed the knowledge of our students, thanks also to the active involvement of the Generali Group in the classroom".
"Generali has been supporting Bocconi University for over twenty years, a collaboration that has grown over time and which is now entering a further phase. The insurance sector has profound interrelationships with the major issues of the contemporary world and every day faces new challenges: the partnership with Bocconi University is an important contribution to study, analyze and manage them", said the Group CEO of Assicurazioni Generali, Philippe Donnet.
