Silvio Petriconi Strengthens the Department of Finance

The new Assistant Professor comes from Universitat Pompeu Fabra
Arriving from Barcelona, Silvio Petriconi joins the Department of Finance as an Assistant Professor in Finance in the academic year 2013-2014.
His research interests lie in banking and macro finance. In his PhD dissertation work at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Petriconi has investigated how inefficient credit booms may emerge due to exacerbated competition between lenders.
He also has a background in Physics in which he holds a Diploma degree from Universitaet Leipzig.
