The largest hospital in Europe
Lorenzo Cuocolo, associate professor of Comparative public law at Bocconi, has been nominated president of the steering committee of the Irccs San Martino-Ist hospital of Genoa. The nomination of the committee, which lasts for 5 years, took place in agreement between the Health Minister, Renato Balduzzi, and the president of the Liguria Region, Claudio Burlando. "The role I am about to take up is one of great responsibility," says Cuocolo, " also because the San Martino Hospital represents the largest hospital structure in Europe with around 5,000 employees. I have been chosen thanks to my studies and articles on the topic of health law."
