Stock and Bond Prices in Times of Uncertainty
The volatility of stock and bond prices in the presence of macroeconomic uncertainty will be the theme at the centre of the Fintema lecture 2011 which will be held by Pietro Veronesi, professor of finance at Chicago University, on Tuesday 22 November, from 10am in room AS01 in via Roentgen 1. During the lecture Veronesi will illustrate and comment certain empirical evidence which is at the basis of his research work.
A debate will follow moderated by Cesare Conti, Università Bocconi and director of the Fintema project, in which will participate Carlo Favero, Università Bocconi, Paolo Matteini, cfo Miroglio Group, and Marco Valli, chief Eurozone economist UniCredit.
Now in its 14th year, the Fintema (Finance, treasury, economics and management) project was created to foster the collaboration between researchers and professionals who, within non financial companies, deal with finance, treasury and financial risk management. The project is promoted by Carefin Bocconi (Center for applied research in finance) in collaboration with Aiti (Associazione italiana tesorieri d'impresa), Andaf (Associazione nazionale dei direttori amministrativi e finanziari) e Acmi (Associazione italiana credit managers).
